We're not interested in just slapping some "AI" on top and calling it a day at @DreamHost. Our team is thinking about how to solve real world problems in ways that will still be relevant in a few years. Go team! https://t.co/LKso32kIZC
@alexiskold@Tesla I like my second Tesla a lot less than my first. Still impressive for such a young car company, but it’s hard to keep supporting them now.
@mattfelten Do you think there’s a big demand for easy mastodon hosting? Have thought about it for years but obviously it’s at least a bit more interesting than it used to be…
And it’s the software that’s the issue… the hardware is capable of doing things far beyond what’s actually possible with the apps and OS available today. The review covers that well.
I completely agree with this review of the Quest Pro. I received mine on launch day, was actually cautiously excited about it, and was ultimately disappointed. It’s a definite step forward, but not enough.

Mark Zuckerberg is terrified of even the rumors around Apple’s headset. Quest Pro was rushed to market in an attempt to beat them. A Quest 3 with only the color pass through and the improved optics would have been a winner… and that’s what we’ll get next year.
@303 Another example… the software my kids’ school uses to manage volunteer sign ups. It’s such a wreck that it’s a major volunteer position just to set up the software.
