I swear SOMETHING broke in society after 2020 and nobody wants to talk about it.
And I’m not talking about masks, lockdowns, or COVID. I mean the FEELING of life.
Everything reopened. We went back to work. Restaurants filled up. Events came back. But somehow life still feels… different.
Years disappear faster. People feel more disconnected. Everything feels more expensive, stressful & rushed.
And somehow we’re all constantly exhausted. I can’t even explain exactly what we lost. I just know life before 2020 felt more ALIVE.
Tell me I’m not the only one who feels this.
I'm fascinated by this photo.

On this day in 1812, the Battle of Queenston Heights was fought.
The British and Canadian troops, and their Mohawk allies, defeated the American invaders. Over 100 soldiers died in the battle, including British Major General Isaac Brock.

The historic 1930s Art Deco entrance of the New Orleans Lakefront Airport terminal. Above the doorway, the iconic word "TERMINAL" is crowned by a striking, stylized winged human relief by legendary artist Enrique Alférez.
On this day in 1979, the first episode of The Littlest Hobo aired. A revival of the 1960s series, it aired until 1985.
In June 2026, a reboot of the series was announced.

@twitandrewking Gtfoh 😂. That’s amazing, I will be buying them as soon as I’m done Peggy’s. If I have 4 unread books in front of me my brain flatlines.
Sometimes I forget Google exists.
Today is Leif Erikson Day.
The day commemorates the arrival of Erikson and the Norse in what is now Canada around 1000 years ago and the founding of the Norse settlement of L'Anse aux meadows in Newfoundland and Labrador.
