Info in thread!
@The_Dontist I'll still be posting here. Admittedly I sometimes post things on other platforms that I feel too shy/anxious to post here. Still, I'm grateful for my following here and recognize that platform shifts can't happen overnight. I'm just really happy to be able to offer a new choice.
I did a collab w/ @Kosmicd12 to talk about misunderstood design in Super Mario Bros.! We show how SMB1’s design goes beyond the surface of what others cover on the topic. I've wanted to talk about this for a long time, and I'm thrilled we made it happen. https://t.co/3Z0KETXeXV
It's official—BibleThump has been removed from Twitch.
If you want to express your grievances in emote form, we recommend BibleThump. That's because BibleThump lives on as a global FFZ emote, by the request of @edmundmcmillen! Enjoy your new home, little guy. o7
Thank you to everyone sharing posts, artwork, etc. for the 7th anniversary of DDLC! I haven't been online much lately, but it brings me joy that the game holds meaning to so many after all this time. I'm working hard on new projects and can't wait to eventually share them.
@RogersBase Nintendo is full of absolutely wild ideas for Splatoon, and it's likely they've already decided on a direction/theme/story for Splatoon 4. Seems unlikely they would base the whole premise around Splatfest results, even if they figure out how to tie it in after the fact.
This Saturday, I'll be in Oakland, CA at @TheMADE (a retro gaming museum) to give a free talk on how to get started making games for retro systems like NES. I'm also sticking around afterward for pictures, and to chat about game dev and my other projects like DDLC.
I'm sad to announce that I will be withdrawing my plans to attend Anime NYC this weekend.
There's been an unexpected family tragedy, and I need to prioritize supporting my loved ones during such a difficult time. I immediately knew my decision on this matter, but it was still tough to make, because I really cherish meeting fans of DDLC and my other work. I'm sorry it couldn't work out this time.
I hope to see you at future cons, maybe Anime NYC 2025!
