We're deeply saddened to hear of the death of our former Chief Executive, Grahame Morris.

At the helm of our theatres from 1997 – 2004, Grahame was a fantastic leader and oversaw productions such as Edward II and Don Juan.

So sad to wake up to this news today. Lord Bob was a true inspiration to everyone that he met. A great chair, amazing mentor to me and will truly miss him. Only last week we were texting and him sharing his knowledge. My love to Anne today and his amazing family.

40 years ago when studying for my A’levels I sat here watching Guys and Dolls and always knew @NationalTheatre had a place in my heart. 40 years on so proud to watch my former colleagues deliver such a show on the the Olivier stage. SO PROUD. @NationalTheatre you did us proud!
