@billybinion 20 years ago it was accepted that Republicans voted by mail more often. No one questioned it then. Covid politics led to the shift. So sad.
@mightydudbolt@PalmyrPar I think they use them as a wiki. Things like the Droid Gotra, Church, etc. but I’d be surprised if plot lines or characters really got explored like they were in the show. Saw is a great example. we’ve never gotten real use of him as a character. He’s always in the background.
@mightydudbolt (2/2) as a foundational tenet in the faith that George Lucas was a hack who never would have been a success if not for the key collaborators and was somehow able to coast off that 3-5 year period with no talent or good sense. It is accepted dogma in certain anti-George circles.
@mightydudbolt Everyone on that movie did excellent work. And the Oscar was well deserved, especially in a day when editing was truly physical work demanding very physical skill.
But the “Marcia saved Star Wars” was born in the late 2000s at the peak of prequel hate (1/2)
@mightydudbolt I watched a clip of this (in our first look) and it occurred to me that the X-Wings lock s-foils in the wrong order. The rearmost opens first. I suspect a technician thought it looked cooler, and there as no time or money to redo it. But I can see that driving George mad.
Thank you all for making this our most viewed video in the history of our channel, beating even our Rick McCallum Star Wars Underworld clip.

@elcalvodelobato Some of the most handcrafted films ever made. A full extra year of post production than most films receive. A shot like
that is a great showcase as to why. People act like it’s easy.
@DrewTailored I was specifically speaking of Mandalorian action scenes. I think the scene in Clones is the best showcase of the design of the armor and how it is best shown in combat, taking a lot of inspiration from the original Johnston designs. You don’t need to like any of it. It’s fine.
Say what you want about Prequels...
...but they stacked dope action!
Kenobi vs. Jango Fett is still one of my favorite action scenes in all Star Wars.
