@Mal3k1th It’s pretty simple: The premise that AI would use humans as batteries (and not find some other power source) and go through the trouble of creating a simulated reality just to keep them controlled is so idiotic that it makes my brain hurt.
@Coulrofurbia_C Yes. I even rewatch the entire trilogy every five years or so to check if I’m missing anything or was too dumb to get it. Nope. It sucks. The premise is horrible and the acting is horrible and the story arc is horrible. It’s horrible on every level.
@GothCharlotte I haven't started it yet. I know at some point I will have to bite the bullet and watch but... it's been so many years of letdowns.
I don't know how much more I can endure.
@FRONZ1LLA There’s a place for both. I understand the motivation for and even the utility of politically motivated art, but that doesn’t mean that every artist or every work needs to have an agenda.
Personally, in my darkest times I prefer the easiest art.
