Danimer Scientific’s Dr. Matthew Hilliard, Commercial Demonstration Plant Manager, met with 9th-12th graders at Thomasville High School’s career fair last week. During the fair, Dr. Hilliard exhibited how Danimer Scientific is revolutionizing the plastics industry by bringing innovative biopolymer solutions to everyday items including straws, cups, food packaging, etc. Dr. Hilliard also engaged with students and discussed potential upcoming internship and career opportunities at Danimer Scientific as we seek to inspire the next generation of biotechnologists to make a worldwide difference right here in Southwest Georgia. Thank you, Thomasville High School, for the opportunity to meet with these future leaders in sustainability!

When Danimer says our signature PHA, Nodax®, is a more perfect polymer™, we mean it is renewable, broadly biodegradable in natural environments, and able to be incorporated into products that replace conventional fossil plastics in many applications we use every day. We truly believe that makes Nodax® PHA a more perfect polymer™ for our planet and future.
Danimer teammates across our sites have been excited to give back to their local communities this holiday season!
Teammates from our Athens, GA location had the opportunity to volunteer at the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia earlier this week, and our Bainbridge, GA and Winchester, KY facilities supported local families by holding donation drives for the Salvation Army's Angel Tree program and the Clark County Family Resource and Youth Service Center, respectively 🎄
Our Bainbridge team enjoyed hosting students from Thomasville Scholars Academy's AP Environmental Science class earlier this month. We are thankful for this inquisitive group and all those who are interested in learning more about Danimer's signature PHA, Nodax®.
