Dangal is one of the most woke propaganda films ever made. Showing a junior-level female amateur wrestler defeating male Pehlwans in the akhada is a straight mockery of the strength of those male Pehlwans who spend years honing their skills.

In reality, even international female wrestlers who have won gold medals cannot defeat junior male wrestlers.

Yet, in the name of women empowerment, they made a mockery of local Haryana Pehlwans.

It would have been fine if it were a fictional film, but they sold it as a biopic.

Haryana Pehlwans deserve respect. They are chads who built strength and skills naturally.

If not for the performance-enhancing drugs used by Westerners and other East Asian countries, they would have brought way more medals to India.

Sadly, even the anti-doping organizations belong to Westerners and East Asians.

Why does women empowerment always lead to showing men as weak by faking stuff?

The film had many more flaws btw. The scorecards of the match were manipulated for drama, Mahavir Phogat was never locked in a storage room by a petty coach during the finale, and the film implies Geeta & Babita were lonely pioneers. False. The Indian women's team had already won many times. Legends like Alka Tomar won World Championship bronze in 2006, and multiple Indian women won gold alongside Geeta in 2010 itself.

My last tweet on this matter-

Step motherly treatment has been given to Indigenous products since independence

They did same with Arjun, delayed Tejas, Kaveri, NAG and what not

Each of them could have been India's security backbone

I agree, we get in a vicious cycle of importing- then not doing anything -then panicking

But, What is the current solution? Not would have done, could have done

What needs to be done currently when entire world is going to war and we just had a conflict with nuclear neighbour ourselves

I speak in favour of Rafale because clouds of wars are forming, geopolitical alignments are changing and we need to bolster our defences across the 3 forces, not only air force

The IAF love French platform, it loved Mirage in Kargil, it loved Rafale in Sindoor

They have made their choice clear

Rafale is also independent of American engine and spare part chutiapa, which can be blocked anytime by US Congress if things go bad politically between Indian and US

HAL has been made busy with massive order of Tejas MK1

But Tejas MK II has still not done its first flight, by the time it will receive FOC, it will be too late - possibly 2033 first jet will be inducted by that time 50% of Rafale will be here

I speak against SU 57 because Russians themselves operate 20 units, you want to buy 200 and experiment on their behalf?

Russians are now relying on Chinese for spares and components, that's another headache

They are not 100% reliable considering how many times they have taken us for ride

I speak against F 35 because of how unreliable Americans are and the fact we have never used American jets and the fact that it's operation and maintainence is extremely expensive

And will Americans make F35 in India? No

Will they give source code? Lol

Will there be Indian components in F 35? Lol

Will Lockheed reinvest money back in Indian ecosystem? Lol

Still want to take a chance on SU 57 and F 35?

Bulk order of Rafale means we are tying down France and they will have to come through on the Kaveri SAFRAN engine

Mastering Engine is tougher than mastering rockets, China is still perfecting it after Billions of dollars invested

We need French help, and have set aside $7 Billion for it

You laughed when I said Indian OEM will gain experience on Rafale which can be used for Tejas MK II - I still stick to this, I strongly believe Desi Rafale OEMs will come through for Tejas MK II and AMCA as well

In another scenario if HAL had been given no order of Tejas (it currently has 220 total) one could say that we are not serious about indigenisation

But HAL has been put to task to prove everyone wrong by delivering everything on time

When Tejas MK II flies it will get the desired love and bulk orders as well

Every year Indian government will keep adding 2-5 Billion extra in line with global pattern and our defence budget will soon cross $100 Billion

But right now, Rafale is our best bet and I am ready to die on that hill
