The California Govs primary is huge and messy. Party boss is stepping in to narrow the field. Ranked choice voting would be a simple fix to this problem. It pairs well with their Top2 system and gets rid of spoilers.

Problem is when states research forms of ID specific voters are least likely to have -- as TX and NC did -- and then require those. Or what AL did: Requiring ID, then closing DMV offices in Black counties. That's cheating.
