What could possibly go wrong one wonders!
Republicans running for office anywhere in the country should pay close attention to this.
Steve Hilton’s latest AI-generated campaign ad for California governor is one of the sharpest pieces of political messaging I’ve seen this cycle. It doesn’t just attack, it shows the clear choice in vivid, side-by-side detail.
Two years into a Steve Hilton governorship: California’s high-speed rail boondoggle is canceled and turned into the “National Monument of Government Failures.” Visitors from around the world come to stare at the most expensive piece of concrete in human history. A sign lists the Democrats who backed it, Newsom, Becerra, Brown, Buttigieg. Skid Row is transformed into a destination with cherry blossoms and fine dining. Santa Monica’s Third Street Promenade is full of shoppers and diners. Gas is $3 a gallon. Families are taking road trips again. The state feels livable.
Then the ad rewinds to the alternate future under Democrat Xavier Becerra: Gas hits $8 a gallon. The only traffic is people packing up and leaving the state. The Third Street Promenade is a ghost town. Becerra is called the “kiss of death” for Santa Monica. Skid Row is overrun with typhoid and rat infestations. Taxes are raised again to dump another $200 billion into the railroad to nowhere.
This is what decades of one-party Democratic rule have produced, and what continuing that path would lock in. The ad doesn’t sugarcoat it. It makes the contrast impossible to miss.
Other Republican candidates could learn from the style, the clarity, and the willingness to use modern tools to show voters the stakes. California’s future is still being written. So is the country’s.

Mike and I went to early voting in Denton, Texas yesterday 🗳️. We arrived around 4:10 and found a solid line already waiting outside the polling place 👥. When we were standing in line, the election official stepped out and shared that turnout has been a record for the first two days of early voting—more people have shown up than in previous cycles at this point. He said they would mark the line at 5:00 to cut off new arrivals, but he was glad to see so many folks making the effort 👍.
Texas requires voter ID 🪪, so we had ours ready and the process moved smoothly. Outside, the usual campaign signs were up for local races—Texas House District 64, justice of the peace, and others—just a normal part of election season here. No drama, just neighbors taking a few minutes out of their afternoon to cast a ballot.
Seeing a real line and hearing the official note the higher turnout in person was a good reminder of how local participation actually works. Early voting is open, the rules are clear, and people are showing up. That’s the story from our polling place yesterday.

This is what democrat want.
My young children shouldn't be subjected to this in public and force me to try and answer their numerous questions about it because they're confused.
🚨 BREAKING: Laura Ingraham just laid out what she says is the radical left's playbook to take down federal authority.
Per Ingraham, it goes like this. Flood the streets nationwide until Trump invokes the Insurrection Act.
Claim the military is committing abuses. Get the press to amplify every clip. Then blue state governors unite to override federal authority and rewrite the Constitution.
She says former Obama and Biden staffers, ex-USAID employees and community organizers are openly discussing it.
One former USAID staffer made it sound like utopia. "We're going to have to, if we want to live in peace and deeper democracy, reform our legal frameworks,"
They call it reform. It's a power grab with a nicer name.
