A watch-sized gold ring was gifted to President Trump this week from a Belgian diamond group, months after it won tariff relief.
Isidore Mörsel, president of the Antwerp World Diamond Center, presented the ring to Bill White, the U.S. Ambassador to Belgium, to give to Trump. Mörsel said the piece was gifted on behalf of the centuries-old diamond community in the Belgian port city.
"A very special thank you to my friends from Antwerp for the magnificent Freedom 250 ring," Trump said in a prerecorded video message during an event marking America's 250th birthday in Brussels
Some U.S. ethics experts say the president has broken with the decades-old custom in the White House to avoid accepting such gifts. The fate of the ring is not currently clear.

Our enemies play him like a fiddle, taking advantage of his fragile ego. They spent two years injecting ZOG agitprop into America’s social media because they knew Trump would react by cutting off his nose to spite his face.
If you think there are far important issues we have to deal with—and we do—you should be furious that these corrupt assholes, selling everything that’s not nailed down.
We just lost a war against a shithole country because many of the decision-makers have been compromised by their own greed. Wait til we find out why US/Turkey policy has been so inexplicably batshit insane.
But no, many of you are angry about the people talking about the corruption.
'You do not need to think Trump is the end of American democracy, or that everything he does is evil, to see this for what it is: the biggest grift in American history.' @TheFP, in a blistering and fully persuasive attack on @POTUS https://t.co/uiUgO8Bzcx
Imagine the balls on this goon—a longtime agent of the Islamic Republic—to be whispering these sweet nothings into the ears of radicalized politicized Catholic converts. I’ve rarely seen anything this nakedly cynical.
The most revealing thing here is that she said she's "unfortunately" from the United States. Pro-Palestine activists are usually self-hating and get to experience national pride by vicariously living through Palestinians.
Interesting. Would love to hear him unpack some of this. When he says “I see antisemitism spreading,” it’s a real reversal from a few months ago, where he waved it off. I wonder what changed?
Notice, also, that he jams anti-Christian and anti-White bias in there—as if it’s all coming from the same place that has nothing at all to do with his very dear friends he texts with all day.
I wonder if Vance would be so chummy with someone who doesn’t stop yelling about the evils of Christians and Whites. No, I don’t really wonder.
JD Vance blames social division on secularism and calls for a return to the “Christian foundation” of America.
My interview with the vice president:

In its latest magazine, Al-Qaeda in Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) published an article with sub-headline “Thank You JD Vance.” Article cites Vance’s presser as “precious” for “grilling” Israel & “revealing” that “66% of Israeli weapons are made by Americans with American tax money.”
JUST IN: NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani used America’s 250th anniversary to sharply criticize the country, accusing the U.S. of allowing children to go hungry while billionaires and “oligarchs” gain more power.
He said America’s wealth was built by working people with “calloused, dirt-streaked hands" while accusing the country of allowing the wealth built by workers to be concentrated in “the soft hands of a precious few.”
Erdogan using Hitler rhetoric about Israel while the US deliberates over giving Turkey F-35s. Seems like we are setting in motion an avoidable tragedy waiting to happen.
"Riyadh takes the Iran-Houthi threat seriously enough to work every register it has, managing Iran itself because it has stopped assuming Washington will."
The kind of guy who would say, “America has done bad things” today is like a spouse who lists the shortcomings of the other spouse on their anniversary
The Turkish Foreign Minister goes full-blown Hitler on Israel:
"These people have become a burden that humanity can no longer bear. With these policies and this mindset, humanity cannot carry this burden any longer."
Posted about the Saudi delegation traveling to Iran to pay respects to Khamenei, and got a flood of nonsense comments back. So I wrote this about why Riyadh showed up in Tehran while its jets were confronting the Iran-backed Houthis the same day. https://t.co/ieQsEHZ7fW
