I'll never forget my first Ofsted lesson observation, as an NQT, when they said I couldn't rely on this level of energy to engage and enthuse my class as it would diminish as I got older. I hope they get to watch this, 20 years later. ๐ค
Euro โ96, London 2012, Glastonbury - weโve all felt it and know whatโs possible. Think big, think different and build the country around that, @AndyBurnhamGM. #DareToDream
Couldnโt put this book down from these two inspirational role models @AndyBurnhamGM@steverotheram - gives a clear an honest lie of land & a blueprint for future of us up north. Wish we could have a brew to discuss how we can make even more progress with the stuff we are doing in Fleetwood. Local people should have local powers & funding to address local issues. Keep up the fight fellas, youโre doing us all proud & making a huge difference.

A letter from 10 Downing Street landed on my desk today.
Our children wrote to the Prime Minister about the landfill. He wrote back.
First things first, well done to the kids. They got their small but mighty voices all the way to the desk of the Prime Minister. That's no small thing and we're very proud of them.
But let's be honest. These are words. We need action.
Last week was the worst it's ever been. Families couldn't open windows. Children walking to school with their jumpers over their faces. Staff feeling sick. It cannot go on.
The letter says work to cover parts of the site and replace the gas wells is starting "very soon." Minister Creagh is meeting our MP Lorraine Beavers to discuss it further.
Soon isn't soon enough.
Meetings aren't fresh air.
We will keep going. Keep writing. Keep shouting. Keep showing up. Until our kids can breathe properly in their own town.
Well done to everyone in Fleetwood who is standing up for what is right - it should have been sorted long ago - we all deserve to breathe fresh air.
Very excited to be starting our Inclusive Attemdance journey - been highly recommended and can now see why. Definitely got our heads buzzing with a different (better) way of doing things.
Flakefleet Primary begins their Inclusive Attendance journey!
Today marks the start of a 5-year strategic vision. Deep dive into systems, processes, pupil & staff voice, and data-driven PA & SA targetsโno guesswork.
