Thanks for your critique, Janet. We actually tried a couple of episodes where House (Hugh Laurie) (please put the brackets in the right place) gets it right first time, but they were only 6 minutes long. NBC weren’t happy. Then we tried some where House never gets it right and the patient dies. The audience wasn’t happy.
One could apply your trenchant analysis to other art forms: JS Bach wrote 30 Goldberg variations on the same chord structure; Frida Kahlo painted 50 portraits of herself; Henry Moore, what??
The point is, or was, variations on a theme; if all you see is hospital, medical blah blah, then it wasn’t meant for you.
Nonetheless, I look forward to your first novel!
@baseballcrank@NoahCRothman I’m genuinely curious if you believe that there is systemic massive voter fraud in California or is it just a legal system that benefits liberals?
Maybe because he literally just put an entirely unqualified political hatchet man in charge of the DNI — while we’re at war — and the only reason he could give was that he would look into the “stolen” election bullshit? He’s making hugely important decisions based on a lie. That seems worth paying attention to. He also tried to set up a compensation fund for people who, inspired by his promulgation of that lie, laid siege to the Capitol. Oh and the only legislation he cares about is all wrapped up in his delusions about how elections are stolen. I can keep coming up with reasons. But the fact that the president still thinks his lie should drive policy and personnel (several J6ers work in the administration) that makes it relevant, imho.
@BlueBoxDave I think the California voting system is ridiculous and should not take this long but did I miss the evidence that there’s massive fraud? Or is this that thing where you’re pretending not to be as smart as you are?
@DavidAFrench@atrupar I actually don’t think that he’s unhinged. I think he knows that he’s lying. He’s mad that anybody is arguing with his lies, but he’s not confused about what the truth is.
Since Ted almost lost to Beto the same year Abbott easily won, no one has paid attention to Texas Split Ticket Voters. They are for real and Paxton is an awful candidate.
@TylerGlasscock_ Because you be expecting them to be able to do what no one else has ever done to think that they could come back from losing the first two at home and then win the series. It is the end of the season. I love the Spurs. But it’s over.
