Had a blast contributing additional music to the game Metro Awakening by @vertigogames for composer @AnneKathrinDern! Got to work on some dark and action-packed stuff - LOVE game music!
Huge love to the many people who have taken time to send messages of support. I’ve been writing music since I was 15 and until now haven’t shared it. Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there.
Excited for the Feb 3 premiere of “Paging Mr Darcy” for which I co-composed the score with @AnneKathrinDern - thank you Anne for the opportunity! It’s a really great movie - very funny and I love these characters. Check it out on @hallmarkchannel - you’ll love it!
A wonderful trip to London and Abbey Road with conductor Ben Palmer, mixer Nick Wollage, the London Symphony Orch and my talented fellow composers to record Hope Album a classical album for solo cello and orchestra for charity. Thank you cellist Andreas Graf for your vision!
@RolfGustavson I get that, but then again the battery is pretty much a free add-on, along with a screen and keyboard, for less price than a Mac Studio.
Based on how well M2 performs, I predict an M3 Max MacBook Pro (coming next week) could serve as my main composing rig, and for 99% of film composers. Take your studio anywhere…
As I reported in August, Apple has been testing M3 Max and M3 Pro 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros. These include up to 16 CPU cores and 40 GPU cores, setting the stage for its most powerful laptops to date. And MacBook Pro inventory has run dry. https://t.co/4HOQGrK10a
Was a blast Michael! Great meeting the students at @ThinkSpaceEd! And I think we should have a contest to see whose office is more purple. It’ll be close!
Doing a webinar with the amazing @davidkudell in 15 minutes for @ThinkSpaceEd! Why is there a Mandalorian helmet on the floor? That's top secret! Only ThinkSpace students are allowed to know. #musicdesign
Thank you for an amazing webinar @davidkudell Appreciated you giving Thinkspace Education the time to give us great advice and information! Keep rocking!🤘
Hey there fellow composers! I ran a bunch of tests comparing VEPro to a disabled track template, on the new Mac Studio. Hope it's helpful! https://t.co/3NeMVzWsNA
@AndersOrozco Thanks Anders! That’s very kind. Since I have also learned from so many others, I feel like it’s nice to share a little bit of what I’ve learned too.
There’s a parallel universe where Mozart and Bach are alive in modern times and they have massive VEPro templates and debate about which string library is best.
@jwalsh_music@RachelHardy306 That’s so strange because you’d think the Apple software would be bulletproof. Cubase native hasn’t crashed once since I got my Mac Studio.
