@ScottHanson I had to take two years off from NFL RedZone. No disrespect to @AndrewSiciliano , but I'm now really looking forward to the first WITCHING HOUR of the season!
This person's stubborn refusal to spend at most a few hours to rule out brain injury has resulted in many days (and probably many weeks) of slow recovery.
If you hit your head hard enough to cause bleeding or leave a bruise, you really should make sure that you don't have a subdural hematoma. Someone I know is coming up on a week in the hospital after not thinking their fall needed checking!
Idea for @elonmusk: why not accompany the public square with public code? I’d contribute pull requests in exchange for being able to look at Twitter’s infrastructure implementation.
Election-rigging conspiracies would require too many people to keep the secret, and it beggars the imagination to believe that none of them would spill the beans.
Mail-in voting isn't going anywhere. It's quite convenient. It's likely that some shenanigans are occurring, but I'm really skeptical it amounts to enough to be noticeable in the third or fourth decimal place.
@DCStones1978 Fact check: True. Stephen told me about this the next day. I seem to recall some anecdote that he only stayed at Holiday Inn because the rooms were all the same.
The best part of @breaking_frames is the opportunity to feel the actors’ emotions in each still picture. Today’s scene with Walt and Walt Jr is a great example.
TV news trucks would be parked at the corner of First and Caribbean when Yahoo layoffs were supposedly in the works. Other than knowing that Twitter employees were told not to go to their offices today, Reuters live camera is not unprecedented.

2) For various reasons, including economic and environmental, we should work to use less energy.
These are not mutually exclusive imperatives.
Elections aren't a moral referendum on each candidate. They are a choice between some small number of fallible humans, and you should vote for whomever you think will better represent the interests of you, your state, or the country as a whole.
Illustrating blue-state hypocrisy about unchecked immigration is fine, but not at the expense of people whose lives don't need to be made harder. If FL and TX want to engage in political grandstanding, choose immigrants who knowingly agree to participate.
Even best-selling authors use "disinterested" when they should have used "uninterested." However, it's not that simple! The connotations of these words have swapped their original 17th-century meanings! https://t.co/JqavJORPzU
Looking at a solar investment through the lens of needing some number of years to recoup the capital expense is not necessarily right. Consider solar as an asset that returns about 6% a year. Electricity isn't getting cheaper, so the rate of return will only increase.
