@kdanaher28 @traderadio Stkilda asked for 14 and SDK, plus he doesn't want to go there

[David Michie 🏆 @Davidmichie]

@bricky324 @traderadio He's AFL media, would have had a fever dream overnight and thrown out a tweet about it

[David Michie 🏆 @Davidmichie]

@sqsehrish 1050

[David Michie 🏆 @Davidmichie]

@stickers_bown @traderadio He won't request a trade until a club commits to taking him

[David Michie 🏆 @Davidmichie]

@JG232_ Will have a delayed start so the medical team can be sure he is good to go, similar to how they managed Martin last year. Will probably be close to half a season

[David Michie 🏆 @Davidmichie]

@NBA2kAustralian @FootyFGPod I think would have been part of the butters budget.

[David Michie 🏆 @Davidmichie]

@pokecrypto21 @jackmcbribes @traderadio You can not trade a player to a club without the players consent to go to that club

[David Michie 🏆 @Davidmichie]

@jackmcbribes @traderadio Good luck convincing him to go to one of the other clubs

[David Michie 🏆 @Davidmichie]

@brett_ernst @DanDanio69 A future first in a very compromised draft, a second round pick in a draft 2 years from now, a fringe player who wants to go to the club (notice how Geelong are helping him get to his destination of choice). Geelong have confidence they will get Ridley sorted out physically

[David Michie 🏆 @Davidmichie]

@Hughghhghghh He wins a flag the following year 🤣

[David Michie 🏆 @Davidmichie]

@andrewd24945691 @RalphyHeraldSun Next year he walks for free, compo pick might be 2nd or 3rd round

[David Michie 🏆 @Davidmichie]

@916_stevo @AgentLink99 @happyharrygrant @traderadio They could, but if this trade goes through it works for both clubs, Ridley is probably worth the future first, but Geelong will help Bowes get to his preferred destination.

[David Michie 🏆 @Davidmichie]

@916_stevo @happyharrygrant @traderadio He can reject the offer and request a trade, but he can't be a dfa

[David Michie 🏆 @Davidmichie]

@916_stevo @happyharrygrant @traderadio Has a 1 year contract, wanted more than one

[David Michie 🏆 @Davidmichie]

@happyharrygrant @916_stevo @traderadio Nope, he has a contract in front of him, so not delisted

[David Michie 🏆 @Davidmichie]

@brett_ernst @frankparrotta81 Cool, so we grab him for free next year, lowball his contract with an understanding that his second contract will make up for it, enjoy no compo pick.

[David Michie 🏆 @Davidmichie]

Remember that time when Geelong trade a 28yo premiership ruckman to the Aints for pick 90?

[David Michie 🏆 @Davidmichie]

@freoforever1 Jackson and 3 1st rounders inside top 10... But seriously, he won't have the cats, loves the club, loves his teammates
