@Niall_Boylan @DarraghOBrienTD is supposed to be representing the biggest of those towns. Towns like Donabate that have thousands of new houses being built and no hope of a decent rail service because we are investing in an hourly express train from Belfast.

@Niall_Boylan @Niall_Boylan my issue with this is that it is a €700m investment in a service that creates the biggest restriction on increasing rail capacity for every town between Drogheda and Dublin, because it is high speed and we only have two tracks.

@DarraghOBrienTD @CllrEOB Maybe you should pop out to Rush and see what it's like bringing a 3 year old to Montessori on his scooter, on an uneven narrow path with trucks and buses travelling 50km an hour inches from his head! Driving is the safe option!

You won't even reduce the speed to 30km/h
