Today I turn 41! I’m the birthday, as the kids would say.
& here’s what I’ve learned over these years:
A. There’s no substitute for great friends.
B. The little things are the big things.
C. Let things breathe — even important things need space.
D. Life is shorter than you think. Tell them you love them now.
E. We can win in this lifetime.
F. I get why runners always talk about running.
G. None of us are bigger than the program — but we make the program.

New on Elizabeth Holmes' partner Billy Evans’ blood testing startup: its former CTO and a key inventor on its patents, has left. Somebody who spoke with Billy says he refers to the company as “Theranos 2.0”, a label the company has rejected. https://t.co/zhQrvRSjBW
BREAKING: Dutch spies hacked Jared Kushner's iPhone and watched him access a Dubai bank account holding hundreds of millions funneled from Azerbaijan, part of at least $2 billion MBS and MBZ placed for him after he promised to push their agenda with Trump, per a Vanity Fair excerpt.
"Jared was looking for shortcuts in his diplomacy. He promised MBZ that he'd push their agenda with Trump if they participated in a fund. He wanted normalization with Israel so that business could take off," a source who knew the arrangement said.
The money was meant to redraw the region's map and lock in normalization with Israel. Roughly $1 billion of it was deposited in Israel's Central Bank for Kushner, with Netanyahu requiring dual-key approval on any transfers.
The two royals initially discussed more than $10 billion for a shared slush fund. That narrowed to roughly $2 billion deposited into accounts Kushner could access, including roughly $750 million at First Abu Dhabi Bank under a UAE charity used as cover for covert operations.
The reveal comes as Kushner is deeply involved in Iran war diplomacy, where Iran has accused him and Steve Witkoff of pocketing $9 billion through market manipulation, using insider knowledge of the talks to trade oil futures, energy stocks, and prediction markets.
Reporter calls out an error in the indictment.
She asks Todd Blanche about how Louise Lucas was helped to get a recreational marijuana license in Virginia when they are not available yet.
Blanche has no idea. Big error. I wonder if AI wrote it🤣🤣
I contested a parking ticket, got it reduced, paid immediately, then continued to get notices saying I owed full amount. Courts & city pointed finger at each other, saying paperwork hadnt been processed. After 5 months it finally was-but not before MVA imposed administrative flag
So a retired NYPD cop shoots an unarmed Black driver in the head during road rage on the George Washington Bridge, flees, doesn’t call 911, and he’s only charged with manslaughter and not murder? 🤔https://t.co/AdvuEKYZjj
YouTube really cooked when they came up with "hide user from channel."
The person leaving shady comments still feeds your views and impressions with their comments, but I no longer see it, and neither does the audience.
Best of both worlds.
They broke Eisenhower’s globe because they didn’t want to wait for a team of specialist historians to move it.
I cannot think of a more apt metaphor for Pete Hegseth’s DoD.
Police said Jeffrey Sutton rammed Bloomfield, NJ officers with his car before they shot him in 2020. Then cell phone video showed no officer was hit, and the public safety director admitted it. Five years later his federal lawsuit is still waiting on a verdict.
Study finds over 40% of mass attackers had a history of domestic violence. Parsing out the 50 subset of workplace attackers, that number goes up to 53%. Nearly all of the attacks were carried out by men who acted alone.
