Visual artist, writer and musician Shala Miller performed improvised vocal and string experiments inside the 2026 Serpentine Pavilion, exploring the contrast between harmony and dissonance.

Her new commission, presented as part of Serpentine's annual Park Nights programme, echoed through the Pavilion's winding brick structure, designed by Mexican architecture studio Lanza Atelier.

The Serpentine Pavilion is on view in Kensington Gardens until 25 October 2026.
