There's been a tremendous amount of progress made on this apartment project at 120 Monmouth Street
Soon, there will be 32 new residential units on the market that will provide people with the opportunity to live within a minutes walk of the train station & downtown shops/dining
@upzonenj That's bc it's really in a geographical no man's land of Red Bank/Tinton Falls/Lincroft and not actually anywhere near Middletown.
Any of the supposed issues the opposition says this will bring won't be impacting anything in Middletown.
@upzonenj The Planning Board has actually been pretty strong on this topic.
Public comments were the typical homeowners who are opposed to everything that gets proposed in town
Comments from the RedBankGreen article (https://t.co/iSzXxxBDsY)
Beyond excited that this project is finally taking meaningful steps forward after being an afterthought for the past 7 years.
Red Bank deserves a state of the art park on the river, and it certainly seems like this park redesign will deliver that to us.
Looks like the parking lot is complete, per post in the RED BANK New Jersey facebook group.
It very clearly replaces the old tennis courts that were destroyed by Hurricane Sandy back in 2012.
Soon, the old parking lot will be replaced by greenspace.
Walked down to Marine Park yesterday and noticed that a tremendous amount of progress has been made with the parking lot relocation.
Going to be an incredible park once it's finished next year.
Not everything has to be knocked down and replaced by 5 over 1s.
There are dozens of buildings in Red Bank that would benefit from the light upzoning that is taking place at 42 Monmouth
Progress continues to be made at 42 Monmouth Street and will hopefully serve as an inspiration for the rest of the single story buildings on Monmouth/Broad/W. Front.
Some updated information in the linked article. Looks like 2 apts instead of 4.
Will still have ground floor retail.
Key part of Monmouth Street that will see life after 16 years of vacancy & decay
