🌻 @TeessideHospice had over 40 of their 'Sunflower Memories' vandalised or stolen and were forced to pull down their display on Saltburn Pier.

Very different feeling visiting our Sunflowers Memories display which is sadly being taken down this morning.

I’m sure many of you will have seen the press coverage about the anti-social behaviour and vandalism that has affected our Sunflower Memories display on Saltburn Pier.

Feeling very thankful for the support, attention and work carried out by my team Teesside Hospice. They have rang each supporter personally and the empathy they have shown has been humbling.

Moving forward we had already made plans to adapt the format and move our summer ‘In Memory’ appeal to a more protected location.
