@potpanmanF1 Switched back to Antonelli last minute, think it is worth saving the -10 and Antonelli moved pretty sharp into favouritism both for the race and qualifying. Plus as you say, I am probably going to want Antonelli back in my team next week

A professional sportsperson's career is incredibly finite and not guaranteed, which is rather unique compared to other professions. It isn't like as a lawyer you can leave the firm for 18 months and never return to your former position.

Here is the impact that compulsory military service had on Sangmoon Bae's career.

Bae was a 2x PGA TOUR winner, 16x winner worldwide, Presidents Cup player and had reached 26th in the OWGR.

He entered military service in November 2015 ranked 88th in the world. When he returned less than two years later, he was ranked 1,869th.

Bae made just 5/17 cuts in his first season back on the PGA TOUR. He did manage to get another win on the Korn Ferry Tour, but sadly never got back to his previous standard.

🥇 in either contest would mean he is exempt from nearly 2 years of compulsory military service.

Really hope he can get it done. Military service has affected many a promising career previously, most notably Sangmoon Bae and Seung Yul Noh.

Unsure what happens with the team medal if it is a tie for medal position (3v3 playoff?!)

Just had a quick search and Mun Do-yeob already served his as is 34, but would undoubtedly be a significant moment for SH Kim. Although may be better for my account if I can never back him again.
