If there’s one thing crypto bros despise, it’s manipulators. We were sick of Do Kwon and SBF, and guess what? The government cleaned them up. I doubt Trump’s administration is happy about this mess either.

What looked like a black swan was nothing but straight-up market manipulation.

Wintermute accumulated OTC assets (mainly SOL, ETH, BTC) through Binance and Coinbase—then dumped ETH hard on the market, triggering an artificial crash. Meanwhile, they quietly bought back OTC at the bottom.

Coinbase and Binance have been investigated for less. I’m really curious how this one unfolds.

For now, I’m betting jail time for the CEO on Polymarket.

Let’s see how this plays out.
