The old wolf is back.

After seven years away, Dejewoo has returned to music sharper, more focused, and more uncompromising than ever.

Right now, I’m working on building a strong, high-quality catalogue — one that speaks for itself.

Since our return in June 2025, every new Dejewoo release has automatically been added to our official DejMoDe Playlist on Spotify. And this will continue with every new release.

It may seem like a small thing, but for an independent artist, this kind of genuine support means a lot.

Those who have known me for years already know this.

The world has changed. AI-generated music has become incredibly widespread, and unfortunately, some people now assume that because I use AI for certain visual and aesthetic videos, I must also be creating my music with AI.

I don’t.

And I don’t enjoy making music that way.

My music is my territory.

When it comes to music, I want the control in my own hands.
I want to play the keys.
I want to build the bass.
I want to create the groove.
I want to shape the build-up.
I want to make the decisions.

If it’s music, I want to create it.

That is simply who I am.

My first release dates back to 2014.

Some people making assumptions about my music today were not even in primary school when I was already releasing records.

What some people are discovering today, Dejewoo learned, lived and eventually forgot years ago.

So yes — I am openly against using AI to create music.

I don’t like it.
I don’t enjoy it.
It’s simply not my way.

But what other artists choose to do is none of my business.

Everyone is free to create however they want.

What I do ask is this:

Don’t label real artists, producers or composers without knowing the facts.

Research first.
Listen first.
Then speak.

Because it is very easy to mislead people.
And it is even easier to judge someone without knowing their story.

But there is One who cannot be deceived.

Allah is above us, sees everything, and knows everything.
