Just heard that my old High Road buddy Sandy Morton died. I'm gutted. I loved and admired that guy. When I played scenes with him I knew there was only going to be one winner and it wasn't me!

Just toying with the idea of writing my autobiography. Not the memoirs of some universally acclaimed star but rarher the journey that so many thousands of actors who never made it to those heady heights have made. Tell me if you think it would have any appeal. Thanks

@Kaz_rafafan Thanks, Pal. We Nordies have to stick togeher. If we could stop fighting each other we could show the rest of the world how to live. I have always regarded a stranger as a friend I haven't met before. You get your fingers burnt sometimes but you make a lot of feiends.

@JayCeeMk I'd forgotten that scene. Certainly sounds like something Sneddon would say. In he early days they let me rewrite a lot of my lines much to some of the writers' chagrin. They didn't like me tinkering with their genius.

@KateKivlichan Thanks, Kate. Never expected to get this far or I would have stuck with my quality control job in Coventry and now have a nice, big pension to live on. Only joking. It's been a roller coaster ride but it's been a lot of fun.
