The best decision I ever made was marrying you, @MichelleObama. For 33 years, I’ve admired your strength, grace, and determination — and the fact that you look so good doing it all. Happy anniversary!
@smerconish Great and important show yesterday on young men. Did you watch Adolescence on Netflix? Everyone should watch that. I wondered what your guests think of it.
We are all part of a larger community of caregivers and care receivers—after all, there are 105.6 million unpaid caregivers in the United States.
And none of us should have to navigate it alone.

Wisconsin ER doctor Chris Ford warns that federal cuts to Medicaid will force hospital closures in rural communities and overwhelm already strained urban care centers. Correct, cutting #Medicaid isn’t popular with the left OR the right.
There’s no private solution, Medicaid is the only option for this mom and millions of others.

Last week, DRC's new Power Building Team and d/Deaf Community Advocate Ken Datugan had the opportunity to meet and collaborate with the Greater Los Angeles Agency on Deafness (GLAD) team! This is incredibly important to us as the d/Deaf and hard of hearing community has been ignored for too long, even within disability spaces. That has to change. Together, we can dig into what real partnership looks like between our organizations. It's just the beginning!
DRC's Senior Advisor Vanessa Ramos shared, "working alongside the GLAD team has given us valuable insights into the possibilities that meaningful collaborations can create. This is a time to strengthen partnerships and harness our collective energy."

There are many villains in #Medicaid but none of them are the beneficiaries or the workers who support them…
This article points out both #PrivateEquity and its move into the long-term care space AND the reality of how bad #ManagedCare is, as seen in NY https://t.co/qEfcW9m3zL
Hey reality show doctor—a) 92% of #Medicaid beneficiaries are working b) the “able-bodied’ argument is a distraction, they gutted the program for everyone.

"We are a country that needs more care than ever before" - @aijenpoo
The vicious cuts to Medicaid, Medicare, and the ACA are the largest cuts to health care in history. They will be devastating for the millions of real people who rely on our care systems.

Let no member of the @GOP off the hook, they didn’t just cut #Medicaid they decimated it. @RepMikeLawler you had the audacity to make promises in front of #Disabled people and their families that you wouldn’t harm them, and your vote did. We won’t forget, and won’t let you lie.
“The promise of Medicaid is being shattered. But in the wake of this devastation, the dream of something better is coming into view. We have the chance to shape the future by building a system of care that leaves no one behind.” - @aijenpoo https://t.co/AbxtYCkqNe
