Subject: Urgent Investigation into Kenyan Police Use of Live Ammunition Against Peaceful Protesters
Dear @IntlCrimCourt Prosecutor’s Office,
I urge you to investigate a disturbing video circulating online, showing Kenyan police officers in a residential estate firing live ammunition at peaceful protesters.
This blatant use of excessive force against unarmed citizens exercising their right to protest violates international human rights standards and may constitute a crime under the Rome Statute.
The video evidence clearly depicts officers pursuing non-violent demonstrators with lethal weapons, creating a climate of fear and endangering lives.
Such actions by the @NPSOfficial_KE and @DCI_Kenya demand immediate scrutiny to hold perpetrators accountable and prevent further atrocities.
Please prioritize this matter and initiate an investigation to ensure justice for the victims and uphold the rule of law.
