Our “Worried this winter? Let’s chat” campaign video 📹 This incredible poem from spoken word artist @kevoutloud is based on lived experiences of energy debt. Together, we’re urging people who are struggling to talk to their local CAB this winter. 👉 https://t.co/UihPwcMiWq
In winter, housing and fuel advice make a real difference and our campaigning work is more important than ever. It’s thanks to our CAB volunteers persevering despite the season’s challenges that we can do what we do! #CABVolunteeringScot

@ClareMoriarty@SunderlandCAB Clare, Heartfelt sympathies to your colleagues in Sunderland from all at CAS and indeed all of our CABs across Scotland. As you say they will undoubtedly already be helping people in Sunderland even though it won't be from that office

I finish up with @CitAdviceScot soon and have been reflecting on what a precious service the Citizens Advice network is.
It’s hard to put into words the difference it makes.

Really good to meet Mark and his Board with other colleagues from OFGEM to showcase the wonderful work of our staff and the massive difference they make to people’s lives across the whole of GB
Yesterday @ofgem's Board and officials visited the EHU, meeting with @DerekM_CAS to find out more about the work the EHU does in helping people with their energy suppliers, as well as improving standards within the energy industry.
The Home Office is consulting on proposals to charge Citizens Advice registration fees to provide immigration advice.
These charges would have disastrous consequences for advice in Scotland.
