Sometimes the best collaborations aren’t planned. I visited a new studio around my neighborhood and I connected with some incredible creatives doing great things in Miami.
That’s where I met an artist called @designbyadrian that also paints patterns in his own art style and we decided to freestyle on a canvas together on the spot.
We called it “Ni Pa Ti, Ni Pa Mi”, which means “Neither for you or for me”. Long ago, a historian wrote of the Taíno people describing a community where the concepts of "yours" and "mine" simply did not exist.
And so: "NI PA' TÍ, NI PA' MÍ" because even though we had just met, maybe this piece was simply meant to exist. Everything happens for a reason 🙏🏼
What do you think of the canvas?
