The 2026 SDG Advocates gathered at the beautiful Sonairte Ecology Centre for a weekend of challenging and thought-provoking workshops. With contributions from guest speaker Ambassador David Donoghue and Hilary Darcy from Financial Justice Ireland, participants explored the interconnected nature of the Sustainable Development Goals, systems thinking, the global financial system, and the dynamics of power that shape our world. The weekend provided an opportunity to deepen understanding, challenge assumptions, and reflect on how we can work together to create a more just, sustainable and equitable future. Thanks to Sonairte for the delicious vegan BBQ.
