In CrossFit, the standard is the standard — for everyone. Lowering it doesn’t help; it holds people back.
CrossFit is hard, and you wouldn’t want it to be easy. That’s exactly why it works.
“I don’t care — do it.”
It might sound harsh out of context, but CrossFit Seminar Staff Trainer Kevin Ogar says this with intention. Adaptive athletes are often told they don’t need to try as hard or meet the same standard.
Competition is essential to CrossFit. And, it is the essence of life. It fuels evolution, innovation, and resilience. It sharpens us through struggle. And, when it is a shared effort, competition forges enduring bonds. @CrossFitGames
To all dissenting CFG athletes: It’s not too late to change your mind! Our communities will eagerly welcome you back. Come do the workouts at a local affiliate. Help judge, coach & cheer and you’ll inspire everyone. And you’ll earn tremendous respect & gratitude of the owner.
@artiewoo@CrossFitGames Because I refuse to allow a few entitled Games athletes to once again weaponize the communities that @CrossFit Affiliate owners worked so damn hard to build.
If you are a former @CrossFitGames athlete and you wish to make a protest statement about the Games, qualify for the Games FIRST, then withdraw and make your media statement. It will have a bigger impact. The Open is for hardworking affiliates and their awesome communities.
Our 18 years of success as a @CrossFit affiliate is a direct result of the combination of the incredibly effective CrossFit methodology with the steadfast & inspiring CrossFit community. #itsup2us

When our members travel for vacation or work and tag us in a post at a @CrossFit Affiliate we feel a tremendous sense of pride: for helping make fitness a priority in their lives AND for being part of a global community of really cool gyms that replicate what we do every day.
In CrossFit, strength goes beyond the barbells — it’s present in community, inspiration, and spirit.
