My husband's girlfriend texted me at 8:12 a.m.

"It's over. He finally picked the woman he actually loves."

She attached a selfie of them smiling in front of an apartment building, keys in his hand like they'd just started a new life together.

I didn't argue.
I didn't beg.
I simply replied with one screenshot.
It was the deed to our house.

His signature was right there beside mine.

Below it, I typed:
"Interesting. Because according to the agreement he signed, if he moves another woman into the home before the divorce is finalized... he forfeits his entire share of the property."

Three minutes later, my phone started ringing.

It wasn't him.
It was her....
