***GRATITUDE***
I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who follows the page, DMs me with questions, hangs out on my YouTube show, buys a copy of my magazine, or supports the releases that I work on. This community is INCREDIBLE and I do not ever take it for granted. I put so much work into this because I love it just like you do and I simply want to make work that I would love to see myself.
With it being this time of year, I have had a few people ask this week how they can help support Disc-Connected and the other stuff I do. Links for those are below, but please don't feel obligated or pressured to do anything. Participating in all of this is surreal to me and I do not have ANY expectations for any sort of support from you all.
Ways you can support Disc-Connected and the other stuff I do:
- Become a patron. Go to https://t.co/A3RdfJXDO1 and sign up at the tier of your choice and participate in the community. I have to pay for a LOT of things out of pocket to keep all of this working and that support goes a long way. Bonus: If you join at the Production Manager tier or higher, you get access to exclusive updates I am giving about the biggest project I have EVER worked on, coming in 2026! CAN NOT WAIT TO SHARE WITH EVERYONE WHAT THAT IS!!
- Change your amazon bookmark. If you are still shopping at Amazon, change your bookmark on your computer and phone to this URL: https://t.co/YAbsG6Z13L
If you click that link before you shop, Amazon gives a tiny amount as a little kickback to me- at no cost to you!
- Buy The Physical Media Advocate magazine that I put out on paperback or digital 10-12X per year. We are particularly proud of the issue that released this month!: https://t.co/ITgGVP93oD
- Share the stuff I do. Any time you like something I have a hand in making, share the video link, the podcast link, the deal link, etc. When someone asks who to follow for physical media announcements and deals, share my page with them. Don't assume someone else will, share the love everywhere.
- Sign up for the email newsletter on my production company's website. Here, you will find a list of many of the titles we have worked on amongst a ton of other information: https://t.co/SsrB9C1Aoa
- Comment! If a movie gets announced and you like it, comment! It reminds people of the page and it comes up in their feed.
- Buy Disc-Connected merch and wear it everywhere!: https://t.co/Zc9UVhZrbv
- Come on my show! Invite me on your show! Collaborate and grow the community! We all just want to expand our network a bit. DM me or email me at DiscConnected [email protected] if you want to chat on a collaboration.
- Last case , If you just want to Donate:
PayPal: https://t.co/g7dW6Xz8lk
Venmo: @Ryan-Verrill
CashApp: $ryanverrill
Note: I will be LIVE on my weekly show #ReConnected just like every other Thursday starting at 9:30p EST. I will be up late covering all of the Black Friday sales and all of the announcements form this last week. Hope to see you there!

@SeanFennessey Hey Sean! I run an indie distribution company over at @AntennaForFilms and we prioritize the theatrical experience and your favorite... physical media. Would love to come on The Big Picture to share what we are doing to innovate and why right now is THE time to disrupt the model.
Hey Boots Riley... if Criterion doesn't want to do that glorious release of Sorry To Bother You that you are dreaming of, I run a distribution company that would deliver the best release of the film on home video possible. More than happy to have you in the @AntennaForFilms group if you want someone that loves your work to be able to properly present that to the world.

MEN CANNOT RESIST HER. MANKIND MAY NOT SURVIVE HER.
Imprint Films is proud to present our first collaboration with artist Sveta Shubina, renowned for her series of ‘Good Girl Art’.
Sveta has taken her brush to sci-fi 90s classics Species and Species II, illustrating brand new artwork exclusively produced for this Limited Edition release, depicting the malevolent alien-hybrid Sil in both her human and extraterrestrial forms.
Both films have been restored from their original camera negatives, presented here on both 4K UHD and Blu-ray in this 5-disc set, and are oozing with hours of Special Features.
Directed by Roger Donaldson, and featuring creature character design by H.R. Giger, Species (1995) stars Natasha Henstridge in her film debut, alongside a stunning ensemble cast including Ben Kingsley, Michael Madsen, Alfred Molina, Forest Whitaker, and Marg Helgenberger. Species II (1998) sees Henstridge and Madsen reprise their roles in another chapter of slimy carnage, directed by Peter Medak.
“We decided to make it female so it would be more docile and controllable.”
”More docile and controllable, eh? You guys don't get out much.”
This strictly Limited Edition packaging features a large hardbox with original full-frontal artwork by artist Sveta Shubina, and a removable PVC slipcover with partial printing.
This is a heavy, bespoke collector’s item, measuring 24 x 32cm, weighing in at 2kg, and comes replete with comprehensive physical extras:

Coming on August 25th on DVD only in the US from @KinoLorber: #MaryOliver: Saved By the Beauty of the World (2026)!
If poetry had a pop icon, Mary Oliver would be it. Celebrated best-selling poet, Pulitzer Prize-winner, lover of dogs and long walks in the woods, openly queer but intensely private, Oliver was America’s unlikely contemporary mystic, stalking the ponds and forests of Cape Cod for nearly fifty years in order to open herself – and her readers – to the known and unknowable world. From a lonely childhood to literary fame, Oliver’s life was shaped by devotion to nature, paying attention, and the long journey toward learning to love and to be loved. Her poems inspire liberals and conservatives, atheists and believers, naturalists and urbanites, speaking directly to contemporary anxieties about attention, presence, and the human relationship with the natural world – issues that feel especially pressing in an era of climate crisis, digital distraction, and social fragmentation.
Featuring interviews with her close friends, including John Waters, never-before-seen personal photos, notebooks, and correspondence from her archive, and recitations of her work by Stephen Colbert, Lucy Dacus, Steve Buscemi, and Oprah Winfrey, Mary Oliver: Saved by the Beauty of the World considers the poet’s long lifetime of work in context, capturing the uniqueness of her world and the natural beauty that inspired her.
