New Can Control book via Beyond The Streets. I got a few pieces in here from early 90s. Respect to Power & our Cali graff friends for showing NY writers love. Before your fav youtube/ig DJs n street artists existed, we were doing the work.
@autlybkri Yes. Phase “needles.” They read wirelessly, no lag, n saves a ton of $ on over-priced needles and control vinyl since all I do is scratch a lot! It’s the best backup plan when using turntables at gigs when u never know the condition of the gear u will b using.
Funk flow yesterday in Queens, NYC.
So u all know some rappers have ghost-writers, but did u know a rapper can also have a graffiti ghost-writer to fake it in old videos n on IG. People move real funny to influence perception vs reality…
A few years ago doing some graff for Common & Dj Premier. Although the “elements” of hip hop have broken off into subcultures that don’t always interact anymore, I still find my happiness & fun where the elements are together like the 80s. Thankful for these opportunities 🎧🎤📈
@StEVeJo67371168 There’s a few, one that did write a lil bit but needs a ton of help n posts the final product not the others helping him do it. Lol. Average fans n podcasters will heap praise n go crazy while ignoring those who truly put in work with no gimmicks.
When the man who invented scratching uses your record in his sets and cuts up your scratching… So thankful and my mind is always blown away by this. Respect the architect n nicest human being, Grand Wizard Theodore. 🙌🏼🫡
@DJJS1 Been rocking with you since Ground Original, man! I’d love to get your take on this article I wrote for Large Professor’s uncle.

@ink_pistol Read it all! Fantastic article. A lot to take in. Wu-Tang as modern bards is spot-on, and I especially appreciated the Iliad, McLuhan, and Beatles references. I learned things i did not realize. This should be included in college courses! I hope the Clan gets to see this. 🙌🏼
