The Gov says you can 'opt out'. Meaning opting out of the automated filters and restrictions built into your device because by default, the device is placed in a locked down, restricted state.

The only way to remove that restriction is to prove who you are.

If you do not verify your identity - your phone, tablet, or laptop remains in a forced minor safety mode. Proving your age is the only way to disable on-device scanners, web content gating and communication filters (all implanted for 'children's safety').

By framing it as an 'opt out' to protect children, the architects of the policy attempt to shift the blame onto the user. If you don't like the restrictions, they claim it is your choice to hand over your ID.

When a system says you can 'opt out' of a restriction only by handing over your biometric data, a passport, or a credit card to a central system, it is a forced choice. It's consent under duress - which we've seen before...

The Reality: You are not opting out of surveillance. You are just choosing which door of the panopticon you walk through.

Door A: Accept the heavily censored, AI scanned, and restricted version of the internet and your own device.

Door B: Hand over your definitive government identity or face scan to unlock the full device.

Either way, the state wins. If you choose Door A, they control what you see and do. If you choose Door B, they successfully tie your exact physical identity to that specific piece of hardware and your internet traffic.

The ultimate goal - mass digital identification - is achieved the moment you try to 'opt out.'

The UK has completed onboarding to the WHO’s Global Digital Health Certification Network, where your health credentials can be verified across borders and UN agencies!(Oh hello, digital vaccine passport, you’re back then)

Your identity and verified attributes are being designed to move between systems, organisations and countries.

And remember… when governments agreed Agenda 2030, SDG 16.9 committed them to providing “legal identity for all” by 2030. It was never cancelled!
