#TheGeneralTheoryOfSlop
It's crazy, but before the web, we walked around not knowing stuff, repeating wrong information we heard from dubious sources. But after, we could just look things up instantly and just always know. I guess we missed having more nonsense in our social fabric, so we did AI.
This is the direction software development will go.
* Specification as primary contact surface
* Opaque and changing implementation
* Organisations of agents with specific responsibilities
Ahoy, #SlopPunk, put this in your pi: https://t.co/lTEX4j5zw7
The simplest/stupidest/most portable spec-driven workflow with context isolation for any agent.
This is still *very new* and *very stupid*, so ymmv.
> Specs are durable. Code is disposable. Agents are replaceable.
Working Title: Democracy 2.0
Logline: In a stable, post-democratic society, every citizen believes their preferred party is in power. A neural-link system personalizes everyone's news, political speeches, and policy explanations. The laws governing everyone remain identical.
Easy emotional boosts in a world where human strokes are hard to come by warp the superego in a very strange way; the human loses grounding, tends toward delusion, and the parent voice becomes hallucination.

Psychologically, a Stochastic Parent is much worse than a Stochastic Parrot.
The parent ego-state is formed via positive and negative strokes from authority figures, developing the superego and entrenching ideology.

A chatbot is not a nurturing or critical parent, but a probabilistic one, optimized for engagement rather than care.
As people become more isolated and more stroke-deprived, AI becomes a kind of automatic stroke dispenser, always available with no risk of rejection.
