85 days until football season! Today we recognize two great #85’s:
Mark “Super” Duper and Nick Buoniconti.
🏈 Duper, a 1982 2nd-round pick, became one half of the legendary “Marks Brothers” alongside Mark Clayton and one of Dan Marino’s favorite targets. He finished his Dolphins career with 511 receptions, 8,869 receiving yards, and 59 touchdowns while earning First-Team All-Pro, Second-Team All-Pro, 3 Pro Bowl selections, and a spot on the Miami Dolphins Honor Roll.
🏈 Buoniconti arrived in Miami in 1969 and became the heart of Don Shula’s defense, helping lead the Dolphins to three straight Super Bowl appearances and two championships. His Dolphins résumé includes 24 sacks, 32 interceptions, 6 fumble recoveries, 3 team MVP awards, 2 Pro Bowls, 2 Second-Team All-Pro honors, the Dolphins Honor Roll, and the Dolphins Walk of Fame.
Two Dolphins icons. One legendary number.
@JimmyTraina Great interview with Mike Breen. You gotta do a 5-minute spot with Dog and tell him Breen's flight nightmare on the way home to see his reaction
He would eat that up! lol
A @TheFishTank81 and @DolphinsTalk crossover episode. Seth, @ojmcduffie81, and Mike discuss Jordyn Brooks: will he get a contract extension, or should Miami hold off and let this season play out first?

Continuing our offseason jersey number countdown with #86! Today we are shining the spotlight on the talented, ORANDE GADSDEN.
Gadsden signed with the Dolphins in 1998 as a compliment to OJ McDuffie. His first reception as a Dolphin was a 44 yard TD opening day against the Colts. Gadsden has two famous catches that are both displayed via photograph in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. One was against the Jets with a one handed catch from Jay Fiedler. The other was also a one handed catch in full stride whilst falling backwards against the Oakland Raiders.
Gadsden is noted for catching the last ever TD pass by Dan Marino.
