UFC pay scheme is kinda of crazy..
150k average as an independent contractor.
First worry is you end up owing 37k in taxes probably write it off but still. 10% at least for management. 4k for a fight camp at least. Than healthcare costs, maybe walk away with 80K if your lucky.

@Tundru_DireWolf I think in a way it's kind of natural.. I find myself in the same situation 36 single and spend a lot of time playing video games. As my other friends have children and other responsibility, I've found my friend group has gotten younger.

@Clavicufur Also for perspective, 7% in that same survey self identified as babyfurs. I would say at the time both are somewhat under reported with babyfurs being more so.

@Clavicufur In 2020 when fur science did probably one of the higher quality polls of the fandom, about 10% identified as straight. The poll in 2001 came out around 25% straight but a smaller sample size. Straight furries make up the biggest single group but are outnumbers by lgbtq.
