@TerryTwoBags@hoodbean1 Idk maybe but the way I personally see it is I blame no one for securing themselves financially (ethically) and personally once that box is checked I’d actually have more creative opportunity because I’ve unlocked my time.
That analogy isn’t 1:1 for these artists but same idea
@hoodbean1@TerryTwoBags Yeah although I agree with the original tweet idealistically, there’s zero blame for capitalizing on you hard work. Imagine you had gotten yourself to prospa’s exact position in March 2020 then your window of opportunity just disappears completely out of your control.
I go to my job and I’m like damn I’m not cool I’m a chud then I throw a party with good music and good people and I’m like damn maybe I am cool and not a chud
When people post their dj friends and the person is so focused on the board like it’s a calculus equation that’s when you know they’re about to drop the shittiest mix you’ve ever heard
@mareel_jaster They have like 15 unreleased IDs. I feel like the album has structure and they didn’t just throw whatever on it. Like the salmon dance remix had no place on it but yes some people would’ve liked that released. Gotta curate an album though
@sirupperdecker@ScrimboSaggins Satellite profitable. Spaceship not. AI not. Still valued high because word AI is in it.
There used to be a 90 day cool down before they let IPOs join index funds so the market could adjust. Now it’s 15 days. SpaceX will join sp500 and other funds immediately (in your 401k)
There was a lot of debate about what the next sound will be whether it is indie dance or ik some people said disco house would catch hype.
I think breakbeat is gonna see a lot of hype and already has. I have yet to see a dance floor react negatively to a good breakbeat track
The amount of big DJs playing free your mind because it’s just an absolute weapon is absurd.
Usually when you’re that big you don’t play a song from a perceived peer. It’s usually gotta be yours or you putting on a lesser known act. But no one is obeying that with this
