Held the 17th All India "Pension Adalat" organised by the Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare #DoPPW.

At today's Adalat 897 pending cases cum grievances were taken up, out of which 756 cases were redressed on the spot, registering a redressal rate of 84.2 per cent. This reflects the success of the Pension Adalat initiative, which was conceived and undertaken after PM Sh @narendramodi took over in 2014.

While the Pension Adalat exercise has brought huge relief to many a senior citizen, it also sometimes provides valuable inputs for improvement in departmental working.

There are several success stories. For example, the case of Smt Chander Kanta Jally, whose husband made the supreme sacrifice as a soldier in 1973. She was sanctioned a Liberalised Family Pension. However, due to certain reasons, the family pension paid to her was lower than the amount to which she was entitled.

At the Pension Adalat, Sh Jaswinder Jally, her son, joined through video conferencing from Chandigarh and presented the grievance on behalf of his mother. The case was discussed at length. Subsequently, family pension arrears amounting to Rs. 2.02 crore were released.

Walked around the Special #Swachhata Campaign 5.0 cleanliness drive at the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (#DARPG), accompanied by Secretary DARPG, Smt. Nivedita Shukla Verma.

Appreciated the dedicated effort undertaken in identifying electronic scrap for recycling and vacating nearly 1500 sq. meters of junk-occupied space on a single floor, quite in line with PM Sh @narendramodi Ji’s emphasis on promoting cleaner workplaces and better space utilisation.

💠पेंशन अदालत: पेंशन संबंधी शिकायतों के निवारण के लिए एक वैकल्पिक तंत्र - अति वरिष्ठ पेंशनभोगियों और पारिवारिक पेंशनभोगियों की 897 लंबित शिकायतों के निवारण के लिए सुनवाई की जाएगी

💠पेंशन न्यायालय विभाग द्वारा 2017 में शुरू की गई पेंशन अदालतें, जटिल और लंबे समय से लंबित पेंशन संबंधी शिकायतों के समाधान के लिए एक कुशल और प्रभावी तंत्र के रूप में उभरी हैं।

💠71.79 प्रतिशत की सफलता दर के साथ, पेंशन अदालत की पहल ने अपनी उपयोगिता साबित करते हुए पिछले 16 सत्रों में कुल 28,797 शिकायतों में से 20,676 शिकायतों का मौके पर ही समाधान किया है। शेष मामलों का भी संबंधित पेंशन अदालतों के बाद अंतर-मंत्रालयी समीक्षा बैठकों के माध्यम से निपटारा किया गया है।

The Implementation Phase of #SpecialCampaign6 was inaugurated today by Hon’ble Union Minister of State (PP) @DrJitendraSingh at Central Secretariat Services Sports Ground, Vinay Marg Sports Complex, New Delhi, in the august presence of Secretary, DoPT, Smt. Rachna Shah and other senior officials of @DoPTGoI.

The drive brought together key Swachhata initiatives, including file weeding and shredding, plantation under ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ and felicitation of SafaiMitras, reinforcing the resolve to make cleanliness and efficient functioning an integral part of government workplaces.

Simultaneous launch of month-long "Special Swachhata Campaign 6.0" in Ministry of Personnel, Ministry of Science & Technology and Ministry of Earth Sciences. More than 100 science institutions, equal number of big and small science establishments, in addition to more than 200 IMD establishments across the country participating in the campaign.

In the last five such special campaigns over the last five years, ₹5,102.91 crore has been generated through disposal of e-waste and scrap, while more than 1,049.54 lakh square feet of office space has been cleared and put to productive use. More than 180.48 lakh files have also been closed or weeded out and 24.20 lakh cleanliness sites identified and cleaned across the country.

Swachhata campaign, launched by PM Sh @narendramodi from the ramparts of Red Fort in 2014, instantly turned into a mass campaign... a collective effort towards a cleaner , healthier #SwachhBharat.

स्वच्छता, सहभागिता और जिम्मेदारी के संकल्प के साथ @doptgoi में #SpecialCampaign6 के तहत विभिन्न गतिविधियों का आयोजन किया गया।

अभियान के दौरान साइबर सुरक्षा जागरूकता, परिसर की स्वच्छता, पौधरोपण और श्रमदान जैसी पहलों में अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों ने सक्रिय भागीदारी निभाई। निबंध, चित्रकला, स्लोगन और क्विज जैसी रचनात्मक गतिविधियों ने स्वच्छता के संदेश को व्यापक सहभागिता से जोड़ा। श्रमदान के माध्यम से सामूहिक जिम्मेदारी की भावना को मजबूत किया गया और सफाईकर्मियों के योगदान के प्रति सम्मान व्यक्त किया गया।

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, @DoPTGoI celebrated Swachh Bharat Diwas, marking the concluding activity of #SwachhataHiSeva2026 at Grih Kalyan Kendra, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.

With the theme “Swachhata Mein Sahbhag; Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat”, Secretary, DoPT, Smt. Rachna Shah administered the Swachhata Oath along with other senior officials, followed by a cleanliness drive, tree plantation, floral tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and cultural presentations. The occasion also witnessed the felicitation of Swachhata Karmayogis, recognising their valuable contribution towards Swachhata.
