Wonderful News Wednesday is here! Our next highlighted presenter @DormannKate Topic: Launching Students to Success in STEM using Model Rocketry to strengthen their science, math, & STEM curriculums. "Blast off" into inspiration with this great session for your Ss! @NJAGCGifted
Thank you, @rvccngss, for another amazing training. I always leave your PDs in awe of the science around us and excited to implement everything we learned.
I cannot wait for @sacademy268 to rent a StarLab! Highly recommend this immersive experience for learners of any age.
@sacademy Ss are applying what they know about forces to create parachutes with a surface area that will cause their rockets to descend at a specific velocity.
They determined the side lengths based on SA and measured out their parachutes. @Heniep1@Principal_KM@ops_district
The Gifted/Talented Team from Scholars Academy attended the @NJAGC's Sharefest in which other educators in gifted education shared best practices & strategies in various workshops. Meaningful and intentional professional development! #movingintogreatness#goodtogreat

@sacademy268 1st & 2nd graders learned about the different constellations in our night sky. After viewing each ๐ in the Starlab, they created their own. Each constellation tells a story of their family & what is most important to them. Thanks @rvccngss for making this possible
Aurora and I got to meet one of our heroes last night. Thank you, @TheSpaceGal, for encouraging so many to keep exploring their curiosities. Aurora can't wait to have her own wonder lab someday, thanks to you. I couldn't ask for a better role model for all my little scientists.
Coming up with Oobleck puns is almost as hard as saying non-newtonian fluid 3 times fast... but those @sacademy268 smiles are all that MATTER #gotone ๐ @Principal_KM
Hey @TheSpaceGal ! 1st graders at @sacademy268 in Orange, NJ were inspired by Emily's Wonder Lab Oobleck Pool ๐ค We have some very curious little scientists who want to keep exploring. Can you help us?
