Greetings, fellow scrollers! Don’t worry, I have no intention of selfie-spamming the feed. Consider this a rare concession to formality. I just thought I’d pop up briefly to introduce myself to the X community. I’m Rachel (the neuroscientist). It’s nice to e-meet you! 🧠 🎀 #science
@Heath_Matheson Just discovered your work today, and, odd though this may seem, wanted to tell you how much I liked this first line. I’m a bit obsessed with first lines, the mechanics of gently easing, OR FORCING a reader into engagement. I rarely find great ones in scholarly lit. So bravo 🤌✨

@MasudHusain Great piece, Masud 🧠 I actually just wrote David’s case into a feature about free will (citing Our Brains, Our Selves, of course!) I’ll tag you when it’s published.
