I'm struggling to find the policy direction of the Minister and the government of the day in solving congestion at our tertiary facilities

The only reason some medical doctors react the way they do toward the Health Minister is that they believe the position should be occupied by someone from their profession. Beyond that, it is difficult to understand why they would overlook the role of fellow professionals who directly manage the health facilities they complain about, while placing the blame on a Minister whose primary responsibility is policy direction and oversight rather than day to day facility management. Some of our medical doctors are so condescending
