@DiaryofaSickGrl I am not a fan of the AX commercial method of putting on deodorant/perfume because of this issue. The increase of people drenching themselves in smell was noticeable. I should not be able to smell you when walking outside or 5min after you left a grocery aisle.

@C_m__9 I was a foster parent for years and pretty much that's how I felt any time a new kid came into my home. Panic I might not know what to do since each kid comes from different experiences, and hoping they liked being here.

@VitalRenaiss There are no sidewalks for blocks and some days I can walk 10 miles and others barely 2. A treadmill you don't have to worry about time, distance, terrain, weather, safety, etc. You can go at your own pace. What time, how long, and often what speed and incline you want

@Cha43147R @HQNewsNow Many monuments have entrance fees. Using those fees to pay for monuments would be the proper course. Many national parks also have fees. Those fees cover upkeep for all national parks. Keeping trails and roads safe. Camping, garbage, and bathrooms cleaned up. Animals healthy.

@thrluv How "social media" do you mean 😂 because AOL was social and I used late 80s early 90s. LiveJournal was too and that was 99/2000ish, and Myspace not long after. 🤷

@ma1ybe Drs recommend 6 weeks minimum for any moderate activity. Which includes lifting things even as heavy as your own child. But it can take up to 6 months to heal from giving birth. And that's without complications. 6 months... with zero communications. But yeah. Go back to work.

@dog_rates I remember working at a vet and they had me sit on a dog that kept trying to run off while getting examined and get shots... It also did not work. In the end the vet and another assistant had to slide his front legs to get him to lay down while I laid on him the whole time.

@DiaryofaSickGrl I'd stay sick forever if it meant everyone I love would be fine. But that's not how life works. Sometimes I pretend my sickness keeps others healthier just for it to suck less. And sometimes I think I'm being punished for burning an orphanage filled with puppies in a past life.🤷

@DiaryofaSickGrl Well I don't post a lot on my own feed, but I respond to a lot of people... And have very little filter. Which I guess is what happens when you have AuDHD... so honest squirrel brain, and almost die as a kid... so no longer care if people approve of me or not.

@DiaryofaSickGrl At least my spouse gets walk away and do other things while I am still right here with my chronic illness. He is fully aware it's worse for me and does what he can to help, and I make sure he gets away often enough to not burn out dealing with me too. I wish I could too though.

@DiaryofaSickGrl I get mine done for $40 for normal and $60 for more fancy 🤷 but those super excessive fancy nail art haven't ever been $25 for a full set in like 50+ years.

@beeef1738 @TerribleMaps It didn't say anything about cheddar in it on the front. It had a big "Chocolate Fudge" label and looked like normal milk chocolate fudge. It wasn't until having a bite I read the full small print ingredients list. 🥲
