Why is Nigeria the way it is if there are so many churches in it? This is the wrong question.

The right question is this: What would have been the state of Nigeria if it weren’t for the churches in it?

The church is the powerful restraining force that has kept this nation from total collapse.

This is why we must never promote disunity in the body of Christ. If you have an issue with someone, meet with them personally and resolve it. Not once in Scripture are we told to broadcast our issues to the world. NOT ONCE!

How do we engage the world without becoming a part of it?

We need to follow God’s pattern by staying in the place of fellowship with like-minded brethren. The church has a vital role to play in this.
