This is still beyond unacceptable stop using generative ai for anything you've literally been better off for longer without it than with it
@SEGA@SEGA_OFFICIAL
Before electricity was invented, artists were able to find references just by looking at the world around them
We live in a technological world now, but that doesn't mean we get lazy. SEGA could have easily researched via previous Crazy Taxi games, google images, or even visited locations like they used to (e.g. Sonic Adventure)
Concept artists need work. Games need that human touch, in every aspect.
Whilst I'm glad no Gen AI seems to be in the final game, I'm incredibly disappointed that it was used at all. Mainly because I worry this is just the start for SEGA, and I really hope it isn't
PSA TO GAME DEVELOPERS/PUBLISHERS: I will not buy your game if you used genAI at any point during production, and neither will anyone who likes and RTs this post.
Hope this helps! ❤️
Sonic fans, don't try to justify Crazy Taxi's GenAI use. Make a big stink about it. Make it clear that this AI stuff isn't worth it. Do that NOW so that buying the next Sonic game doesn't become some insufferable moral crossroads. There are better reasons but if for nothing else.
SEGA being cooked on the tl for using AI to make concepts images for crazy taxi.
I'm gonna use this as an excuse to post sonic concept art that gives me dopamine.
🚨 Zendaya made proposals and script notes suggesting a completely different ending/life for the character Rue, but it was rejected, and she tried so hard that she simply didn't sign on as an executive producer for the third season, and that is the OFFICIAL reason why we no longer see Euphoria being Euphoria.
#euphoria
"Rue needs to find the good in herself & remember that she's still worthy of beautiful things, love & happiness. Just bc she made mistakes, it doesn't mean that she doesn't deserve a beautiful life"
Zendaya always wanted a happy ending for Rue & hope for the addicts ❤️🩹
