Coming in the next DrawTheDraw release: a new Home page with time tracking, today’s progress, and optional streak challenges for your drawing practice.
I made a new article about why daily drawing practice falls apart.
It's about motivation not being infinite, and the setup before a session quietly burning the same energy you were going to spend drawing.

I released DrawTheDraw, an offline desktop app for gesture and drawing practice with your own reference folders. Glad to have the first version out. Includes a free demo: https://t.co/FVEiTZJQC3
Still working on getting the first release out the door and onto https://t.co/yhv35X2wXa. I had the screenshots and GIF ready, but then realized I need to make some UI changes, so I guess I’ll need to redo the images too.
Fighting to get the first release out. Fixing bugs and trying to figure out a good name for the app. Seems like all the good (and bad) names are already in some usage. Ah, of course, but still did not anticipate it would take this long to come up with a name 🙂
I'm working on a desktop tool for drawing practice.
Trying to make practice sessions simpler, structured, easy and quick to jump into, minimizing setup and planning time 😎
