I am flying next to a woman who is unable to control the children she is with, and people are looking to me to help just because I'm married to her and said children's father.
I don’t think that’s true. MAGA will eventually collapse, and the post-liberal movement associated with people like Vance is an obvious contender to succeed it.
But describing that movement as a defender of constitutional liberalism is simply inaccurate. Much of its appeal is explicitly built around rejecting those values and institutions, not preserving them.
This feels like one of those Trump moments where both sides are performing for each other and he may have literally just been asking, “So how’s Ebola going?”
@neoavatara Comparing a preference for racial homogeneity to something as innocuous as not liking burritos reads less like nuance and more like, “I disapprove of this, but not enough to risk upsetting my audience.”
Hoping Trump can’t carry out his agenda isn’t the same as endorsing the other side, as if there are only two directions anyway lol
I have no problem with our shitty president having to deal with a shitty Democratic Party and getting less done as a result. I’ll sleep like a baby.
If Democrats control one branch of government, maybe Trump can’t start some bullshit war that sends inflation ripping higher. What a tragedy.
Nobody here said genetics plays no role in human traits or, for that matter, called you racist, ostensibly or otherwise. You were called full of shit and, ostensibly, stupid, both of which are considerably better supported by the data you’ve supplied and, more importantly, the data you haven’t.
@harmonic_shift@AuronMacintyre You’re taking group-level correlations, some undefined and others practically unquantifiable, assuming the group label itself is causal, then declaring the aggregate outcome inevitable. Some people call that an ecological fallacy. Others just call it being full of shit.
