Ron Schneider

Retired, I guess...

[Ron Schneider @dreemfinder]

@tim_handler @marinafang While I thought Hopkins deserved the Oscar, I think Mr. Handler's misspelled complaint against Mr. Boseman's honor is apt... He deserved a Memoriam, but got only a "memorandum".

[Ron Schneider @dreemfinder]

@JLHomni It only gets better.

[Ron Schneider @dreemfinder]

@DreamfinderGuy @ThemePark_Nerdo @MrEPCOT It was not "filled in". It was painted over, but is still visible (barely!) in its original spot.

[Ron Schneider @dreemfinder]

@HistoryAtDisney Of course, these are all DL Cast Members attending a pre-opening photo shoot in the Blue Bayou, used for the Club 33 membership brochure...

[Ron Schneider @dreemfinder]

@WhoTfisFigment Considering that it's Robb Alvey's site, it should be no surprise. #WhoTfisFigment

[Ron Schneider @dreemfinder]

@annalyngraceart WONDERFUL! <3<3<3 #annalyngraceart

[Ron Schneider @dreemfinder]

@WhoTfisFigment I'll confess I'm intrigued by the title you've selected for your twitter account... <g>

[Ron Schneider @dreemfinder]

@theme_park DAMN RIGHT.

[Ron Schneider @dreemfinder]

@HistoryAtDisney LOVED the DL ride!

[Ron Schneider @dreemfinder]

@pattonoswalt May I suggest reading your daughter 'The Princess Bride' by S. Morgenstern (actually William Goldman <g>)? Even if you've both seen the movie, the book has so much more to offer. Besides, it actually celebrates the act of reading to a child... #pattonoswalt

[Ron Schneider @dreemfinder]

@jerryemac @WEDreads My pleasure! Thanks for checking in... #WEDReads

[Ron Schneider @dreemfinder]

@WEDreads Thanks, guys... My whole aim with the book was to pass on what I'd learned re: writing & performing in the parks. I've loved the entire experience and finding out that the message wasn't lost on many folks in the industry. #WEDReads

[Ron Schneider @dreemfinder]

@WEDreads If you haven't already, check out the film we released last year... The Further Adventures of Walt's Frozen Head... Starring moi as Walt Disney!

[Ron Schneider @dreemfinder]

@TOCPE82 @WEDreads No one in upper management cared a bit what we did, so we got away with MURDER! I told my npeople to play it like the real characters would... NOT like theme park employees. So they went nuts, and we were a hit from day one! #WEDReads

[Ron Schneider @dreemfinder]

@WEDreads This was a particularly rewarding job, hiring, training, writing for and supervising The Blues Brothers, THe Marx Brothers, Laurel & Hardy and many others. My Blues Brothers Shoiw is still running in Florida, 29 years later!

[Ron Schneider @dreemfinder]

@WEDreads I'm about halfway back in this photo.... on the left side, wearing a red shirt and a black cap! #WEDReads

[Ron Schneider @dreemfinder]

@WEDreads @dacubedfred @TOCPE82 @WDWManimal Actually not much. I really spilled my guts on that part. Dave Smith did invite me to a screening of Peter Pan that day, for a British Author, Richard Collier, who was writing a new bio on Walt that was published in Reader's Digest. #WEDReads

[Ron Schneider @dreemfinder]

@WEDreads I couldn't believe we got away with that joke on a Disney ride... <g> #WEDReads

[Ron Schneider @dreemfinder]

@TOCPE82 @WEDreads @WDWManimal Tell that to my fiance... She LOVES to torment me with those posts! #WEDReads

[Ron Schneider @dreemfinder]

@dacubedfred @WEDreads @TOCPE82 @WDWManimal On the other hand, I realize that audiences change (only rarely for the better, imho). But I celebrate any change that brings us a successful or exciting new attraction (Frozen ride) or that can touch on EPCOT's original feeling (The new Test Track). #WEDReads

[Ron Schneider @dreemfinder]

@dacubedfred @WEDreads @TOCPE82 @WDWManimal Like most EPCOT Center fans, it hurts me that we've lost the original purity of the park and its inspiring mission. I've met dozens of people, kids and adults, who found a purpose in life or developed a new interest based on their early visit...
