@PussycatNaughty It sounds like a lot going in, I know. But get down a routine and maybe a bit of a diet change and it isn't so bad.
We are almost 2 years in currently and going strong, you got this!
@way2pickychick@feederofcats This was one of the reasons we considered it as well. My wife has an auto-immune disease and with it, the severly reduced immune system. Marvin, our little demon, would cut her pretty good sometimes on accident. The vet mentioned something about not learning claw control.
@domdyer70 Naw, he deserves the same fate. He can fight for his life and see how it feels.
If he lives, he will learn.
If he doesn't, well, we aren't much worse off are we?
@PBlasphememes@Rothmus Not sure when wood chippers became the first response to their ilk. But I certainly don't hate it.
Chip em all and let god sort em out. (Good luck)
@pot8um This is what happens when industries work against the individual collectively. They didn't all decide to do it on their own. They watched huge tool sets like Adobe slowly convert their licensing practices with little pushback. When people continued to pay, it was adopted widely.
@catswithnohope I am sorry for your loss, and all the loss you see in this line of work. It is not fair that it falls to your shoulders to take care of the little ones that the world has forgotten.
I wish you strength and courage to keep fighting on.
@Solo86B@InternetH0F That's fair. Well it will be a shame to see you go. I would rather watch someone with a good head on their shoulders than another random turd who thinks its funny to pick fights or exploit their viewers. Low bar, I know. But I work with what the world provides, lol.
@Solo86B@InternetH0F Hell man, we probably started right around the same time. Ive taken a few breaks here and there for my mental health, but right around 7-8 for me too. Crazy coincidences today...
And anytime, technology sucks and I would hate to see someone give up because of it.
@Solo86B@InternetH0F I happen to be an IT specialist. If you ever want a hand, Id be happy to help. It may be an underlying issue.
I'd hate to see a dream (even a small one) die due to technical issues.
@Solo86B@InternetH0F Oh the rants I could have...
But Musky has enough power, and it sharpens the tongue (fingies) to try and get out my thoughts in as few characters as possible.
Plus I am cheap as hell. Maybe if streaming becomes profitable again... and I dont give it all away to the little ones
@Solo86B@InternetH0F Ain't that the truth, lmao.
But I have come to terms with the idea that there aren't many "bad" people in the world, but there are MANY that are led astray by those few. Discovering how influence... influences... has helped me with my own struggles to find truth and purpose.
@Solo86B@InternetH0F And that is the exact reason I try to look at opinions through that lense.
I used to spend ages arguing with people on here about why they are wrong. I found it far more helpful (and insightful) to try and find out why they think they are right.
@Solo86B@InternetH0F Small world man, haha
Good chatting with you though, I don't get to have many cordial interactions these days on X. It was a nice change of pace.
@Solo86B@InternetH0F Exactly, if people spent more time trying to imagine how someone (or something) else feels in a situation, the world would be such a better place.
I would like to say it is an easy change, but ignoring my own bias is no better than them calling me weak. Ignorance helps no one.
@Solo86B@InternetH0F Agreed again, friend
Sends my mind (unwillingly) to imagine what it may be like and it crushes me every time. I respect that many dont (or even cant) feel that or relate, but I hate that having feelings at all has such a negative connotation in this world
